Echos

Our more seasoned adults have a special group we call ECHOS. This wonderful small group gathers together to serve our Lord through mission and ministry projects throughout the year, while enjoying a tremendous fellowship. They have taken trips to places such as Lake Junalaska, the Billy Graham Museum, and the botanical gardens at Duke University. They meet the third Tuesday of every month in the fellowship hall for fellowship, devotions and lunch.

Homebound Phone Ministry

On a weekly basis, our homebound members of the congregation receive a phone call to check on them. Needs of the recipients are communicated to the church. If you would like to be a member of this ministry or would like to be added to the homebound list, please contact the church office.

CD Ministry

Every Sunday morning service is recorded and delivered to homebound members of the congregation who are unable to join us virtually. The bulletin for that service and prepackaged communion (first Sunday of the month) are also delivered.

Prayer Ministry

Praying for one another is one of the greatest gifts we can give to another. Our prayer group will be glad to lift your concerns to our loving Father. Our prayer chain is communicated by text and email. Prayer concerns can be sent to the church through the “Contact” page on this website, placed in the “Community Prayer Box” located in front of the church parking lot, emailed to the church directly at stlukesumc@comcast.net, or called into the church office (434) 836-9345.
